Nichola Scrutton
Nichola Scrutton works across a range of media and processes, including sound art and soundscape composition, voice, performance, improvisation, and drawing/mark-making. Nichola produces self-directed projects, and has extensive experience as a collaborator in a range of interdisciplinary and participatory projects. Her compositions have been broadcast internationally, and recent works include: Night Vision for voice ensemble (Sound Festival 2023); Interzone release, Nonclassical; Lying Over Under Another with writer Zoë Strachan for their Second Life Award, Edwin Morgan Trust; Dream Stream for Radio Art Zone – one of 100 artists commissioned for 100 days of broadcasting, European Capital of Culture, Esch.
