Sonic Bothy Ensemble returns to all sell-out Counterflows, Scotland’s forefront festival of sonic experimentalism.
We are performing on the on the closing night with Maher Shalal Hash Baz, the legendary Japanese ensemble lead by musical polymath, anarchist, filmmaker and ceramicist Tori Kudo. The words of Tori Kudo hang large over the festival: “Error in performance dominates Maher Shalal Hash Baz… which is like our imperfect life.”
