We are delighted to be playing at this fantastic event with the Japanese Otoasabi project!
The Otoasabi project explores music and free expression, creating fascinating performances with an inclusive group of performers/musicians of all abilities, including family members and support staff, and has a decades-long working relationship with musician Otomo Yoshihide. We’re delighted they are coming to Glasgow for this special event created by AC Projects.
Monday 16th September, CCA, 8pm: Otomo Yoshihide performs with the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra.
Tuesday 17th September, CCA: A day of events exploring cross cultural practise culminating in an evening concert.
Talk and enquiry session exploring cross genre and cross cultural practises in creating dynamic opportunities for musicians with an additional support need. 4.30pm. FREE, places are limited by request (details on the CCA website, link below).
Performance, 7pm. Otoasabi project performs with Sonic Bothy, and groups from Artlink Central and Sense Scotland. Bill Wells will also perform a new, specially commissioned piece with musicians taking part in the event.
