Learning Space

Learning Space is a weekly training platform for Disabled musicians (age 16+) of any musical ability to explore musicianship and ensemble playing skills. In this space, we work together to find our creative voice, and create own piece of new music.

Typically, our participants have some musical experience before they join – through our Open Sessions, in school or self-taught instrument learning.

Our participants explore the instruments, be creative with themes behind sound making, and share their work with family and friends in community settings.

The half-day sessions are sensitively led by experienced facilitating artists Ali Robertson, Malcy Duff, and Caroline Hussey.

We make a real difference to the lives of many, who say our activities are their lifeline. To socially engage and be creative together – To be the artists they want to be, and have their voices heard.

However large or small, please consider giving through a one-off, or monthly donation, or help us spread the word by sharing this video.

Together, we can make a difference. For a fairer society where anyone can take part in the arts regardless of the barriers they face.

Thank you!
