Ceylan is a Scottish-Turkish vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and creative facilitator from Ayrshire. She started facilitating workshops for Sonic Bothy in June 2018. Since then, she has made music with so many people coming along to our sessions, become our resident walking encyclopaedia of musical instruments, and finds every day fun because we use our imaginations to create amazing new sounds! She loves to sing, and is always learning about musical approaches from around the world.
When she’s not facilitating sessions, Ceylan composes for theatre, dance, spoken word and film, plays with Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra, and performs solo under the name Bell Lungs.
