Pete completed an MSc in Sound Design & Audiovisual practice at the University of Glasgow, developing work that explores how experimental approaches open up new ways of creative expression and connection, often by combining field recordings and instruments through improvisation and digital processing. His work has been broadcast by several UK based radio organisations including Radiophrenia, Resonance FM and Dundee Radio Club.
With experience of teaching one-to-one music lessons to young people and adults, he believes collaborative experimental practice is especially valuable for young people with additional support needs as it removes barriers and makes music-making more accessible.
Pete joined Sonic Bothy in 2025 as a Trainee in Youth Sessions, kindly supported by Creative Scotland YMI Access to Music Making fund.
