Sonic Bothy return with an eclectic programme of free and fixed original compositions, exploring the ensemble’s diverse interests in improvisation, chamber, early and experimental music, and will be joined by Maggie Nicols for new work ‘Do I come in now…?’. This event rounds off a year that has seen the ensemble play at some of Scotland’s most prominent new music festivals, including Counterflows, GIO Fest VII and Sound Festival.
Sonic Bothy is an inclusive ensemble that brings together musicians with an additional learning support need and musicians working in the Scottish new music scene. The ensemble will also be joined by musicians-in-learning from Sonic Bothy’s Learning Space programme to perform new composition ‘Do I come in now…..?’, led by Maggie Nicols.
