We were delighted to be invited to take part in 2 events this summer after our Reverberation concert:  to play at Sense Scotland’s Summer Sensations concert at Touchbase Glasgow, June, and to deliver a performance/ workshop at Merchant City Festival in July.  Venturing out from our base at Glasgow’s City Halls meant not only experiencing new performance spaces, but also bringing our music to new audiences.

Meeting both old friends and new audience members at Touchbase’s Summer Sensations gig was a joy, as was hearing some work by groups based at the centre.

Our workshop at Merchant City Festival was a different experience altogether!  Based at Trongate 103 in the Family Zone, we delivered a workshop for young children based around music, games and hats!  We created music especially for the event with our young audience in mind, and invited the children to work with us to create a new piece.  It was great fun and very different from our ordinary rehearsals, allowing us to find new skills along the way….
