After an exciting performance at Sound Lab at the beginning of April 2013, Sonic Bothy musicians took to the rehearsal room once more to compose new work and prepare for our main recital concert at Glasgow City Halls, ‘Reverberation’. We revisited our early minimalist influences, mixing with improvised and aleatoric process to create the truly special ‘Oh the weather….’.
This beautiful piece drew to a close an hour long programme of varied, original new music that showed the work of the ensemble’s first year. Some of the pieces from the concert can be heard on our Sound Cloud page here:
